寒假稍纵即逝，2025年春季学期马上要开始了。为了让大家尽早做好新学期的准备，请查收以下温馨提示：

The winter holiday is just around the corner and the spring semester of 2025 will start soon. In order to get you ready for the new semester as early as possible, please check the following warm reminders:

一、请按时返校报到、完成注册

Please return to school and complete registration on time

根据学校教学日历，全体学生注册报到时间为2月24日至25日。全体国际学生需在规定的报到注册时间到国际学生办公室8105完成新学期注册。

According to the CDUT's academic calendar, all students will be registered from February 24th to 25th. All international students should go to the International Students Office (8105) to complete the registration procedures for the new semester during the above time.

请同学们提前安排返校行程，返校过程中注意人身安全、增强自我防范意识。因特殊原因暂时不能返校的留学生同学，请与国际学生科老师和导师联系，说明事由，完成延期注册等有关手续。请注意，不按时完成注册手续者不能参加本学期的各项教学培养活动。未请假或请假逾期两周及以上不注册报到者，除因不可抗力等正当事由以外，视为放弃入学资格或放弃学籍，按照自动退学处理。

Please arrange your return trip in advance and pay attention to personal safety and self-defense. If you CANNOT return to campus temporarily due to special reasons, please get in touch with the teachers of the International Students Office, as well as inform your tutors to explain the reasons and complete the procedures of deferred registration. Please note that those who fail to complete the registration procedures on time will not be able to participate in the teaching and training activities of this semester. Those who fail to register without leave or overdue for two weeks or more will be regarded as giving up their enrollment qualification or student status and will be treated as automatic withdrawal from the university, except for legitimate reasons such as force majeure.

二、请按时参加开学初补考

please take make-up exams at the beginning of the semester on time.

请需补考的同学尽快联系教务科李老师咨询补考安排并按时参加补考。

Students who have to retake the exam are requested to contact Ms Li of the Academic Affairs Section as soon as possible, consult with her about the arrangements for the retaking exams, and attend the retake on time thereafter.

三、请查询系统，按照课表上课

Please enquire about the system and attend classes following timetable

新学期开学后，各项教学活动将陆续开始，请所有学生及时登录留学生系统，确认课表并按时上课。

Various academic activities will start after the new semester begins. All students are requested to log in to the International Student System in time to confirm their class schedules and attend classes on time.

四、研究生请及时联系导师、开展论文和科研工作

Postgraduate students please contact your supervisors in a timely manner to carry out thesis and research work

所有研究生同学请在完成注册后，请主动与导师联系，定期向导师汇报论文进展，在导师指导下修改论文、开展学术科研工作，确保研究生培养计划按时推进。

All postgraduate students are requested to proactively contact their supervisors after completing the registration, regularly report the progress of their papers to their supervisors, revise their papers and carry out academic research under supervisors' guidance, to ensure the timely advancement of the postgraduate training program.

五、请做好身心和生活节奏的调整

Please make adjustments to your body, mind and pace of life

面对即将到来的新学期，请同学们提前结束假期模式，养成早睡早起的良好习惯，保持均衡饮食和适量运动，提前制定好新学期的学习计划和目标，以良好的身心状态迎接新学期的学习生活。

In the face of the upcoming new semester, please end the vacation mode in advance, develop the good habit of going to bed early and getting up early, maintain a balanced diet and moderate exercise, and make a good study plan and goals for the new semester in advance, so as to meet the new semester's study life in a good physical and mental state.

六、请与学校保持密切沟通联络

Please maintain close communication with the university

请及时关注国际教育学院通过学生微信群、公众号等媒介发布的各项通知，与导师、授课老师们保持密切沟通联络，有问题及时寻求帮助。

Please pay attention to the notices issued by the College of International Education through WeChat groups and official accounts, and keep in close contact with your supervisors and lecturers, and seek help in case of any problems.
